TPO Reinforced Outside Corners

DESCRIPTION

TPO Reinforced Outside Corners are factory fabricated corners made of high performance roofing membrane. The open tab design allows the corner to conform to irregular corners or conditions found at the jobsite. Factory welds increase installation time and long-term watertight performance.

INSTALLATION

1.   Application of TPO Reinforced Corners must be conducted in accordance with current heat welding instructions per WeatherStar TPO Technical Specifications.

2.   Heat weld TPO Reinforced Corners over angle changes or intersection areas between field membrane and appropriate vertical flashings. Corners should be centered on outside corner areas and welded using approved cleaning and heat welding techniques and equipment.

3.   Aged or weathered TPO membranes will require additional cleaning with cleaner in order to remove dirt or debris from the welding area.

4.   Refer to the Product Data Sheet for the cleaner for additional information on the proper use and application of the cleaner.

STORAGE

Store in original, unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60º F and 80º F (16º C and 27ºC). Do not store on roof and/or direct sunlight. When exposed to lower temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use to improve product performance.

SHELF LIFE

A shelf life of one year can be expected when stored in unopened containers at proper temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY DATA

• Take care when moving, transporting, and handling, etc., to avoid sources of punctures and physical damage.

 WARRANTY

American WeatherStar warrants that the material supplied will meet or exceed physical properties as published. The contractor guarantees that workmanship will be free of defects in coating application. Since performance of previously installed substrate is beyond the control of American WeatherStar or the contractor, requests for additional warranty coverage shall be subject to prior approval by American WeatherStar.
