TPO Premolded Inside & Outside Corners

DESCRIPTION

TPO Premolded Corners are injection-molded components that make installations simple and easier than using field fabricated or field flashing procedures and details. The corners are manufactured in both inside and outside configurations. Please refer to current WeatherStar TPO specifications and details for specific applications.

INSTALLATION

1.   Substrate must be clean, dry smooth, free of sharp edges, tins, loose, or foreign materials, oil, grease, and other materials which may damage the flashing.

2.   All roughened surfaces which could damage the flashing shall be repaired as specified to offer a smooth substrate.

3.   All surface voids greater than 1/4" (6.35 mm) wide, including reinforced TPO membrane and field sheets, shall be properly filled with like material. 

4.   Following these quick simple recommendations and details should allow for rapid quality installation of TPO injection molded Corners.

PRODUCT DATA

Container Size:

• Ten (10) Inside corners per carton.
• Ten (10) Outside corners per carton.

STORAGE

Store Premolded Corners away from sources of punctures and physical damage.  Store indoors between 60-80°F (16 – 27°C).  Do not store on roof in direct sunlight.

• Store in original, unopened containers indoors at temperatures between 60º F and 80º F (16º C and 27ºC) away from heat sources and physical damage
• Do not store on roof and/or direct sunlight.  When exposed to lower temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use to improve product performance.

SHELF LIFE

A shelf life of one year can be expected when stored in unopened containers at proper temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY DATA

• Take care when moving, transporting, and handling, etc., to avoid sources of punctures and physical damage.
• Material Safety Data Sheet available upon request.

WARRANTY

American WeatherStar warrants that the material supplied will meet or exceed physical properties as published. The contractor guarantees that workmanship will be free of defects in coating application. Since performance of previously installed substrate is beyond the control of American WeatherStar or the contractor, requests for additional warranty coverage shall be subject to prior approval by American WeatherStar.
