DESCRIPTION:

American WeatherStar (WeatherStar) TPO T-Joint Covers are made from a high performance non-reinforced TPO membrane.  T-Joint Covers are specifically designed to seal T-joints that occur at seam intersections on TPO roofing systems.

INSTALLATION:

1. Application of WeatherStar TPO T-Joint Covers must be conducted in accordance with heat welding instructions per WeatherStar current TPO Technical Specifications.

2. Heat weld TPO T-Joint Covers over all TPO seam intersections to reduce the risk of water entry into the seam area.  T-Joints should be centered over the T-joint intersection and welded to the existing membrane using approved heat welding techniques and equipment.

3. Aged or weathered TPO membranes will require additional cleaning with WeatherStar Cleaner in order to remove dirt or debris from the welding area.

4. Refer to the Product Data Sheet for WeatherStar Cleaner for additional information on the proper use and application of WeatherStar Cleaner.

STORAGE:

Store indoors in original unopened containers at temperatures between 60ºF (16ºC) and 80ºF (27ºC).

• Do not store in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 80ºF (27ºC).

• When exposed to lower temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use.

PRECAUTIONARY DATA:

Take care when moving, transporting, handling, etc. to avoid sources of punctures and physical damage.
